The south region of Thailand is famous for its beautiful scenery especially numerous charming beaches distributed in both east and west coastline, the region is also rich of agricultural resources such as rubber, palm oil planting and fishery. At present, Thailand is the biggest exporter of natural rubber all over the world and the output from south Region holds 80% of the whole country’s export.
In coincide with healthy and rapid expanding of trade and economic cooperation between the Kingdom of Thailand and the People's Republic of China, now China’s business tie with the south region of Thailand is enjoying good momentum. Except for steady increase of trade volume, mutual investing activities also become more active, especially in rubber industry because China has become the world biggest market for nature rubber already. Additionally, with the step of growth and internationalization, more and more Chinese enterprises show interests for potential opportunities in Thailand including south region for investment or projects's construction, they wish to establish long-term collaboration relationship with local partners and contribute to the future economic and social development in this area.
Assigned by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, and administered by the Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Songkhla, the Economic and Commercial Section has incumbent obligation to further strengthen economic tie, and to promote trade and investment cooperation between China and the south region of Thailand.We sincerely hope that this website could be served as one fresh window for regional market attention and an useful platform for exchanging of business information。Any suggestion towards improving the website would be sincerely welcomed.
